From the ALSA wiki

i am new in alsa-project. i want to write a program,that can capture the audio from line-in device, and delivery the audio,finally save the results as a binary file or to speaker.and it can change sample format,sample rate ,and channels ,periods..... the example alsa-how-to in alsa website is not complete. Can anybody send me a alsa capture complete example. thanks a lot.
