hi everybody im new using feisty fawn and i have some questions. I have a tascam us122 and i followed the instructions in this tutorial and it works very good. I can reproduce audio perfectly, but the problem is: i cant record anything. ¿how can i enable the recording input? and the other problem i cant hear any midi file and i cant use my keyboard to play midi notes¿how can i configure midi? do i have all the necessary drivers to do this?or do am i missing some code lines or any bash command? thanks to everybody :)

Check the paths!

This didn't work for me (on Debian amd64 lenny/sid) until I put the drivers in *both* /lib/firmware and /usr/share/alsa/firmware.

Hardy Heron

I added the hardy heron fix. Thought it could be useful. Worked for me and will probably work for others.
