i have been using gnu/linux for audio since around 1998. my stuff runs the gamut from electronic improvisation to plain old solo guitar.

my work is very interested in improvisation. i do a bit of hardware hacking when i have the time. i'll try any hardware or software that allows me to better use the computer as an instrument. lately, that's a lot of puredata and ChucK.

i do all of my recording using ardour or the jack timemachine. puredata touches all of my computer music pieces. i love to manipulate source recordings and am beginning to explore environmental soundscapes (something like hildegard westerkamp meets a blender).
