The vkeybd MIDI application
vkeybd is a virtual MIDI keyboard application that sends MIDI events of different pitches according to which key you either press on your PC's keyboard or click on the graphical representation of a piano keyboard. See http://www.alsa-project.org/~iwai/alsa.html
