hello, my name is harald gutmann, and i'm a student from austria. i came to linux, about ~6years ago, because on my old thunderbird 900 often crashed with windows2000 on it. finally one day, it happed that sensitve data got loss, when windows crashed with a blue screen, and i decided to install linux on my desktop, and complete switch off from windows. at that time, i had some experience with linux, but not really much. since that day, i use linux, and sometimes i get really suprised, when the community gives me again that hit, that i need in this moment.

i registered here, because i got the correct hint, which fixed the glitches on my m-audio 1010lt. i'm really happy about that, because this card is not cheap, and i want to have fine sound on my fine speakers.
